摘要: Supercritical fluid extraction of mint leaves was carried out at different process parameters using central composite rotatable design. The effects temperature (35–55 °C), pressure (100–300 bar), dynamic time (20–90 min), and particle size (0.2–1.0 mm) were evaluated with respect to essential oil yield carvone content in volatile oil. found have the most significant effect (p < 0.05) on followed by pressure, temperature, time. Although case content, showed optimized SFE parameter obtained though numerical optimization 48 °C, 151 bar, 0.40 mm 37.5 min, respectively having 1.4%, 998 mg/100 g desirability value 0.53. Quality compared hydrodistilled highest antimicrobial activity against E. coli a moderate S. typhi aureus. Practical applications The for response surface methodology approach is presented present study. data can be useful scale up batch pilot or large system. A quadratic polynomial equation developed, which predict as well within studied domain experimental conditions. From results from this study, used industry producing high content. recommended operating condition min.
