摘要: In this chapter we consider the relation between gender and emotion, particularly as that connection is expressed in stereotyping, power relations, sexuality. As review pertinent research strive to move beyond conventional “gender differences” model has tended dominate study of emotion. We propose two useful theoretical frameworks for investigating gender-emotion link. The first, expectation states theory (Berger et al. 1977; Ridgeway Correll 2004), explaining beliefs social roles other structural variables. second, doing emotion (Shields 1995,2002), can be used explain connections among about emotional experience, a gendered sense self.
