摘要: Corrugated feedhorns are commonly used with reflector antennas, either for emission or reception purposes, because of their very low side lobe beam patterns, good E-H plane symmetry and important bandwidth. Unfortunately, the electroforming technique that is generally to fabricate them requires machining single-use mandrel. Direct milling horn also possible, in a single block split block, but this machine each desired horn. At submillimeter frequencies, small corrugations mandrel costly. We present paper cost-effective helicoidal corrugated feed horns, which consists one reusable mold as many horns needed.
