摘要: The wide adoption of radio frequency identification (RFID) for applications requiring a large number tags and readers makes critical the reader-to-reader collision problem. Various anti-collision protocols have been proposed, but majority require considerable additional resources costs. Distributed color system (DCS) is state-of-the-art protocol based on time division, without noteworthy requirements. This paper presents probabilistic DCS (PDCS) which employs resolution. Differently from previous division protocols, PDCS allows multichannel transmissions, according to international RFID regulations. A theoretical analysis provided in order clearly identify behavior parameter representing probability. proposed maintains features DCS, achieving more efficiency. Theoretical demonstrates that collisions after slot change decreased by over 30%. simulation validates results, shows reaches better performance than protocols.
