Developmental potential of bovine embryos reconstructed from enucleated matured oocytes fused with cultured somatic cells

摘要: Abstract Muscle and skin biopsies taken from bovine fetuses young calves have been used as a source of donor nuclei for cloning experiments. After culture, cells were individually fused to enucleated matured oocytes the resulting blastocysts obtained after 7 d culture (3–8 % depending on cell type) transferred foster recipient heifers. Two calves, female male, both originating muscle born, four additional pregnancies surpassed mid-term gestation. The include one fetus established transgenic nucleus fetal cell, another biopsy performed calf. Our data demonstrate that cultured somatic differentiated tissues can be made multipotent.
