摘要: Summary form only given. The operation of self-modelocked lasers continues to be the subject intense experimental and theoretical study. Much physical insight into dominant pulse-shaping mechanisms is obtained with near-zero cavity group delay dispersion (GDD), where deviations from soliton-like pulse shaping effects dispersive perturbations are evident. For example, experiments reduced negative-GDD show third-order-dispersion induced wave components in spectra, small positive-GDD how gain stabilises self-phase modulation (SPM) resulting rectangular spectra. In paper, we report a new regime near zero-GDD Ti:Sapphire laser, intermediate between dispersive-wave generation negative-GDD, spectra positive-GDD. results agreement model intracavity four mixing (FWM) about wavelength (ZDW).
