摘要: Abstract The controlled synthesis of titanium oxide–barium sulfate composite microparticles (TBCMs) and their photocatalytic activity were investigated. Spherical TBCMs with hollow internal cavities obtained via multi-time composited growth. composed rutile TiO2 nanorods BaSO4 balls. With increasing number compositing times, the became more compact, sizes gradually increased. Homogeneous ranging from 1.5 μm to 2.0 μm formed after eight times compositing. showed pronounced mesoporosity a very narrow pore-size distribution large surface areas. Among various samples produced, those 8 exhibited highest adsorption activities. TBCM photocatalysts could thus be reused effectively for several high catalytic reactivity.
