A clinical monitoring and management system for residential aged care facilities.

摘要: In response to an extended user needs analysis, a home telecare system designed for the management of patients with chronic disease was adapted use in residential aged care facilities (RACFs). The architecture and hardware software components are described both client- server-side. client-side includes medication dispensing, scheduled clinical measurements questionnaire delivery. server-side supports Web- based administrative tools scheduling medications management, as well automated reporting functions. A brief discussion on trial five different RACFs focuses how information technology can support improve standards deliver better health outcomes residents Australian homes.
