摘要: Neoarachnotheca is proposed as a new genus of Onygenales. The outstanding generic characteristics are white, spherical ascomata with wall formed by network hyphae and spherical, subhyaline ascospores an irregular sheath. Nt. keratinophila, the type species, characterized wavy peridial has been isolated from marine river sediments Myriodontium keratinophilum its anamorph. Nannizziopsis tropicalis species based on strain soil in Burundi. RFLPs analysis ITS 5.8S rDNA support these proposals. differences related genera discussed.
