摘要: Field pea is one of the important pulse crops which play a key role in human and animal nutrition as well soil fertility cropping systems. Insect pests are among main biotic production constraints causing considerable amount losses worldwide. Like any other crops, insect management field mainly depends on use chemical insecticides. For sustainable environmentally friendly pest methods, it crucial to understand plant-insect interactions such how plant defends against herbivore attack ecological context. IPM strategy for offers options. In this introductory paper, I have presented volatiles mechanisms host resistance, their potential component development major herbivores pea.
