摘要: A two-state life history model governed by ODEs is formulated to elucidate the population dynamics of jellyfish and illuminate triggering mechanism its blooms. The polyp-medusa admits trichotomous global dynamic scenarios: extinction, polyps survival only, both survival. sensitively depend on several biotic abiotic limiting factors such as substrate, temperature, predation. combination temperature increase, substrate expansion, predator diminishment acts synergistically create a habitat that more favorable for jellyfishes. Reducing artificial marine constructions, aiding populations, directly controlling would help manage theoretical analyses numerical experiments yield insights into nature underlying shed some new light general control strategy jellyfish.
