摘要: Wavelength conversion by difference‐frequency generation is achieved in a periodically domain reversed AlGaAs waveguide. The waveguide epitaxially grown on template substrate where periodic crystal inversion using wafer bonding, selective etching, and organometallic chemical vapor deposition. experiments fabricated buried heterowaveguide showed 90 nm bandwidth, polarization diversified operation, independent efficiency. experimental results also linearity spectral inversion, which imply transparency to signal formats including analog frequency modulation. Simultaneous of multiple input wavelengths with no measurable cross talk demonstrated.
