摘要: For some time, the smart materials and structures community has focused on transducer effects, closest advance into actually having "structure" show signs of intelligence is implementing adaptive control a structure. Here we examine taking this step further by attempting to combine embedded computing structure system. The system focus based integrated structural health monitoring panel which consists completely wireless, active sensing systems with electronics. We propose discuss an autonomous sensor "patch" that contains following key elements: power harvesting from ambient vibration temperature gradients, battery charging circuit, local memory, sensors, wireless transmission. These elements should be autonomous, self contained, unobtrusive compared being monitored. Each these discussed as part used in applications.
