摘要: Possotia leaf powder (PLP), a novel biosorbent obtained from locally available wild plant with environment friendly and low cost nature, has found to be effective remove fluoride contaminated drinking water. The kinetic thermodynamic parameters for the adsorption have been studied. Its fluorideabsorption efficiency is nearly 75% at natural pH range affected by likecontact time, absorbent dose, solution temperature initial concentration. optimum contact time dose were 120 min 3gm/L, respectively.Langmuir, Freundlich Temkin isotherm are studied through this experimental data well followed. kinetics fitted pseudo first order, second intraparticle diffusion models was best order model. study points out of bio-adsorbent temperatureindicating physical nature weak adsorbent-adsorbate force attraction. By studyingenthalpy, entropy Gibb’s free energy via van’t Hoff plot, it observed that process wasfavorable exothermic in nature.
