摘要: Abstract PURPOSE: To compare changes in the corneal wavefront aberrations after photorefractive keratectomy and laser situ keratomileusis. METHODS: In a prospective randomized study, 22 patients with bilateral myopia received on one eye keratomileusis other eye. The procedure assigned to each sequence of surgery for patient were randomized. Corneal topography measurements performed preoperatively, 2 6 weeks, 3, 6, 12 months surgery. data used calculate cornea both small (3-mm) large (7-mm) pupils. RESULTS: Both significantly increased total 3- 7-mm pupils, values did not return preoperative level throughout 12-month follow-up period. For 3-mm pupil, there was no statistically significant difference between at any postoperative point. post–laser eyes exhibited larger than post–photorefractive eyes, where intergroup observed spherical-like aberration, but coma-like aberration. This discrepancy seemed be attributable smaller transition zone ablation procedure. Before surgery, simulated pupillary dilation from 3 7 mm caused five- six-fold increase aberrations. After same resulted 25- 32-fold group 28- 46-fold group. proportion aberration dominant before became postoperatively. CONCLUSIONS: change relative contribution coma- induces more spherical keratectomy. finding could
