摘要: Background: Nonimmediate allergic reactions (NIR) to aminopenicillin include several entities, the most common of which are urticaria-like and maculopapular exanthemas. Aims study: To evaluate a group children who developed one or more episodes skin suggestive NIR after administration. Methods: The inclusion criteria required negative immediate tests absence specific IgE antibodies different penicillins. Intradermal patch were carried out with delayed readings and, if negative, drug-provocation test including full therapeutic course drug was given. Two groups compared: A) positive testing B) good tolerance test. Results: Group A composed 20 patients. Positive intradermal/patch found in patient remaining 19, response confirmed diagnosis. B (the control group) consisted 19 patients similar symptoms intake but tolerance. No differences age, dose number previous treatments observed between groups. clinical entities also both groups. Conclusions: Reproducible nonimmediate aminopenicillins may occur spite testing. value this diagnostic procedure seems be limited type reaction, (DPT) being reasonable safe alternative diagnosis has confirmed.
