摘要: Macromolecules of the cholinergic basal lamina are essential elements complex signaling processes governing development, function, and repair vertebrate neuromuscular junction. One special form acetylcholinesterase (AChE) is anchored within BL through a collagen tail (ColQ) that binds heparan sulfate proteoglycans, such as perlecan, post-synaptic muscle specific kinase MuSK. New experimental approaches probing spatio-temporal dynamics ColQ-AChE over days or weeks in vivo, thereby unraveling its interactions with other components, well pre-and elements. Concurrent advances understanding biological effects mutations prefigure improved diagnostics clinical for some congenital myasthenic syndromes.
