摘要: Abstract The postsynaptic effects of dopamine in the neostriatum are mediated by five G-protein-coupled receptors. extent to which these receptors co-localized neostriatal neurons has become controversial. This debate far-reaching implications for treatment strategies disorders dopaminergic signaling, such as Parkinson's disease and schizophrenia. review examines molecular cellular evidence against co-localization, including new information derived from single-cell mRNA amplification patchclamping isolated neurons. It is concluded that this largely consistent with co-localization functionally significant D 1 2 families majority efferent conclusion important parallel processing models neostriatum.
