摘要: Studies on large and rapid mass movements have become a challenging issue in relation to paraglacial morpho-tectonic evolution of mountain slopes. Rockfalls, rockslides rock avalanches will be considered here the basis selected sites French Swiss Alps Himalayas. The main topics developed relate firstly modes emplacement of, internal structures observed in, body runout deposits influence surface (bedrock, superficial deposits, glacier, lake) over which propagation takes place. impacts these rockslope failures geomorphic systems (damming effects, storage, control sediment fluxes) are then considered. Finally, possible climate change high-alpine rockwalls, potential threat adjacent inhabited areas, presented.
