摘要: Betta splendens is not only a commercially important labyrinth fish but also nice research model for understanding the biological underpinnings of aggressive behavior. However, shortage basic genetic resource severely inhibits investigations on molecular mechanism in sexual dimorphism behavior typicality, which are essential further behavior-related studies. There lack knowledge regarding functional genes involved aggression expression. The scarce marker impedes progress population genetics and genomics. In order to enrich data sequence resources, transcriptomic analysis was conducted mature B. using multiple-tissues mixing strategy. A total 105,505,486 clean reads were obtained by de novo assembly, 69,836 unigenes generated. Of which, 35,751 annotated at least one queried databases. differential expression resulted 17,683 transcripts differentially expressed between males females. Plentiful sex-biased exhibition identified via screening from Gene Ontology terms Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes pathways, such as htr, drd, gabr, cyp11a1, cyp17a1, hsd17b3, dax1, sf-1, hsd17b7, gsdf1 fem1c. These putative would make good starting points profound mechanical exploration behavioral regulation. Moreover, 12,751 simple repeats detected 9,617 development. Nineteen 100 randomly selected primer pairs demonstrated be polymorphic. large amount transcript sequences will considerably increase available genomic information gene mining function analysis, contribute valuable microsatellite resources in-depth studies genomics future.
