摘要: This paper is concerned with the stress intensity factors (SIFs) of cracks emanating from an elliptical hole in infinite or a finite plate under biaxial loads by using boundary element method, which consists non-singular displacement discontinuity presented Crouch and Starfield crack-tip elements due to author. In implementation left right placed locally at corresponding crack tip on top constant that cover entire surface other boundaries. A few numerical examples are included show present approach very efficient accurate for calculating SIFs problems plate. The results can reveal effect aspect ratio transverse load SIFs.
