摘要: An increasing number of patients with asbestos exposure are being identified pleural thickening (PT) alone, little or no impairment in standard tests lung function despite their frequent complaint dyspnea. We have employed incremental cardiorespiratory exercise testing to evaluate the types and mechanisms 23 such patients. All had normal fields on radiographic examinations (group 1, n = 12) minimally reduced 2A slight restriction, 5, group 2B, obstruction, 6), function.
