摘要: Abstract A consummatory conflict procedure that involves an abrupt reduction in magnitude of expected reward (negative contrast) has been shown to be particularly sensitive the effects anxiolytic agents. As previously reported with chlordiazepoxide, another benzodiazepine (BDZ), midazolam released suppressed performance a dose-dependent manner. This effect was not due general appetite stimulatory drug. The three 5-HT antagonists on negative contrast were examined evaluate role serotonin may play action BDZ. Methysergide found ineffective, cinanserin tended reduce at two intermediate doses, and cyproheptadine eliminated similar fashion as midazolam. effectiveness attributed its anticholinergic or antihistaminergic actions since scopolamine pyrilamine did produce effects. results are discussed terms anti-conflict BDZ, well possible interactional GABA.
