摘要: The gas pressure drop in the bore of hollow fiber membranes has attracted much attention. Numerical methods are generally employed to deal with such complex problems. However, numerical cannot provide a clear picture on how is affected by physical properties fibers (e.g., inner diameter, length, and intrinsic permeance) operating conditions downstream pressure). This article attempts elucidate interaction mechanism based an analytical approach. formulated elliptic integral function, effectiveness factor transmembrane proposed characterize effect. A dimensionless parameter obtained, which contains all dominant factors responsible for generating fibers. It shown that serves as indicator significance effect buildup To some degree, this also convenient tool rationalizing modules design.
