摘要: Microfluidics is poised to have an impact on life sciences research. However, current microfluidic methods are not compatible with existing laboratory liquid dispensing and detection infrastructure. This incompatibility a barrier adoption of systems calls for improved approaches that will enhance performance promote acceptance in the sciences. Ease use, standardized interfaces automation remain critical challenges. We present platform based surface tension effects, where difference pressure inside drops unequal volume drives flow passive structures. show integration infrastructure, operations such as pumping, routing compartmentalization without discrete micro-components well cell patterning both monolayer three-dimensional culture.
