Real-time Adaptive Optics with a Twisted Nematic Liquid Crystal Light Modulator Controlled by the Wave Front Reconstruction Sensor

摘要: We propose adaptive optics constructed with a new principle. In this system, numerical phase reconstruction algorithm is incorporated the Hartmann wave front sensor and compensator driven to conjugate of input distortion at each time step. The computer simulation shows sufficient robustness swiftness sensor. Then, experimental system configured putting special emphasis on simplicity feasibility system. A small 2-dimensional grid mask used in sensor, twisted nematic modulator response 30 ms as compensator. control has simple open loop setup using algorithm. This was effective not only for static distortion, but also dynamic perturbation induced by thermal convection.
