摘要: Abstract We simulate the evolution of intergalactic medium (IGM) in a universe dominated by cosmological constant. find that within few Hubble times from present epoch, baryons will have two primary phases: one phase composed low-density, low-temperature, diffuse, ionized gas which cools rapidly with cosmic time due to adiabatic exponential expansion, and second high-density, high-temperature virialized dark matter halos much more slowly atomic processes. The mass fraction converges ∼40% at late times, about twice its calculated value epoch. large scale filaments present-day IGM rarefy fade away into low-temperature IGM, only islands maintain their physical structure. do not evidence for fragmentation diffuse later times. More than 99% steady ionization above 80% get extremely cold dilute but remain highly ionized, as recombination dramatically exceed age universe.
