摘要: Differential encoding (DE) is a classical technique at the transmitter that allows simple noncoherent detection receiver. On other hand, trellis-coded modulation (TCM) bandwidth efficient which offers reliable data transmission. In this paper, we aim to find best concatenation order of TCM and DE for channel phase coherence over $N=2$ symbols. Besides well-known followed by (called TCM-DE) , propose new trellis coding extension extends our earlier work, called differential coded (DTCM) . DTCM with defined in states where distinct may have functions. We design methods functions noncoherently non-catastrophic DTCM. For both TCM-DE DTCM, additive distance measures set partitioning. Based on proposed partitioning, codes are designed or searched Both minimum distances simulation results show outperforms obtained better than original codes.
