摘要: This article reviews current efforts towards quantitative prediction of rheological properties industrial polymer resins, based upon their polydisperse branched molecular structure. involves both an understanding how reactor and reaction conditions influence the distribution chain lengths branch placement (which is province engineering) structures in turn give rise to rheology (the physics). Both fields are reviewed at introductory level, focussing particular on developments theoretical for entangled model polymers polymers. Finally, we discuss three classes which engineering physics have been truly combined produce predictions from rheology. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part B: Phys. 2015, 53, 123–141
