摘要: Data from different individuals at a single locus are positively correlated because of the shared genealogy sampled genes. This paper illustrates qualitative effects on genealogical trees assumptions about population demography, and it considers consequences for genetic variability. An understanding these is invaluable in interpretation data inferences history. In contrast, traditional measures diversity approximation methods do not seem well suited addressing problem.
