摘要: We measure the two-point correlation function ξ(rp, π) in a sample of 2219 galaxies between z = 0.7 and 1.35 to magnitude limit RAB 24.1 from first season DEEP2 Galaxy Redshift Survey. From we recover real-space function, ξ(r), which find can be approximated within errors by power law, ξ(r) (r/r0)-γ, on scales ~0.1-10 h-1 Mpc. In with an effective redshift zeff 0.82, for ΛCDM cosmology r0 3.53 ± 0.81 Mpc (comoving) γ 1.66 0.12, while higher 1.14 3.12 0.72 0.12. These are estimated mock galaxy catalogs dominated cosmic variance present current data sample. that red, absorption-dominated, passively evolving have larger clustering scale length, r0, than blue, emission-line, actively star-forming galaxies. Intrinsically brighter also cluster more strongly fainter at 1. Our results imply bias b 0.96 0.13 if σ8DM 1 today or 1.19 0.16 0.8 today. This is lower predicted semianalytic simulations 1, may result our R-band target selection. discuss possible evolutionary effects survey volume, compare galaxy-clustering studies other redshifts, noting has selection criteria very similar Lyman break 3 absorption-line displays strength comparable expected descendants demonstrate properties as color, spectral type, luminosity seen local universe were largely place
