摘要: A gas scintillation detector is designed to provide in-beam absolute dose monitoring for ion beam radiotherapy treatments employing spot or raster scanning, especially with microsecond-scale pulses. Detection of prompt primary light emitted by molecules excited passage provides electronic signals that can be processed yield output data proportional delivered up high rates, and appear quickly enough feedback influence real-time intensity adjustments subsequent steps in the scan. When collected multiple photo-detectors, invention furthermore capable measuring position spatial resolutions order one millimeter.
