摘要: In this paper, a simple fatigue estimation model, only using encountered significant wave height, is used for predicting accumulation of vessel during voyage. The formulation the model developed based on narrow-band approximation. It assumed that response range, hs, has linear relationship with Hs. mean stress up-crossing frequency, fz, represented by corresponding frequency and it expressed as function capacity accuracy illustrated application one container vessel’s damage in an amidships detail, operating North Atlantic 2008. For vessel, all necessary data needed verification it, was obtained measurements. results from proposed are compared well-known accurate rainflow analysis. Influence nonlinearities, e.g. whipping, predictions extreme responses also discussed.
