摘要: The loss behavior of a cell multiplexer and the performance forward error correction (FEC) for two homogeneous one heterogeneous traffic scenarios are discussed. depends on statistics source scenario. Simulation results indicate that percentage cells lost in block is geometrically distributed. Using these mathematical model FEC developed, effectiveness three computed. It shown not effective scenarios. However, reduces rate video sources by several orders magnitude scenario consisting burst sources. >
