摘要: Advances in digital audio technologies have led to a situation where computers play role most music production and performance. Digital offer unprecedented opportunities for the creation manipulation of sound, however flexibilty these new imply an often confusing array choices musical composers performers. Some artists faced this challenge by using directly create leading explosion forms. However, would agree that computer is not instrument, same sense as traditional instruments, it natural ask 'how computer' interface technology appropriate human brains bodies. In 2001, we organized first workshop on New Interfaces Musical Expression (NIME), attempt answer question exploring connections with better established field human-computer interaction. This course summarizes what has been learned at NIME which held annually since workshop. We begin overview theory practice design, asking makes good whether there are any useful design principles or guidelines available. We will also discuss topics such mapping from action output, control intimacy. Practical information about tools creating interfaces be given, including sensors microcontrollers, synthesis techniques, communication protocols Open Sound Control (and MIDI). The remainder consist several specific case studies representative major broad themes conference, augmented sensor based mobile networked music, pedagogy.
