Heavy Quark Production from Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions

摘要: We study the production of heavy quarks, charm at BNL-RHIC ($\sqrt{s}$=200 GeV/nucleon) and CERN-LHC ($\sqrt{s}$=5.5 TeV/nucleon) bottom from ions colliding relativistic energies. consider initial fusion gluons (and quark- anti-quark annihilation), pre-thermal parton interactions in thermalized quark gluon plasma. also free-streaming partons as another extreme compare results with those a plasma partons. The contribution is calculated by considering interaction among having large transverse momenta (jet-partons) after interaction, passage these through Charm processes found to be comparable that prompt (initial) LHC. It suggested this may have important implications for nuclear modification factor, R$_{\rm {AA}}$ well back-to-back correlation quarks dileptons mass.
