摘要: In this review we discuss the population of stellar-mass black holes in our galaxy and beyond, which are extreme endpoints massive star evolution. particular focus on how can attempt to balance available accretion energy with feedback environment via radiation, jets winds, considering also possible contributions from hole spin advection. We quantitatively methods used estimate these quantities, regardless details astrophysics close hole. Once have been outlined, work through an outburst a X-ray binary system, estimating flow mass different rates states. While stellar systems, consider applicability what learned supermassive active galactic nuclei. As important control sample coupling between neutron stars, show that it is very similar observed holes, strongly constrains much be unique holes.
