摘要: Phaseolus multiflorus plants at three stages of development were decapitated either immediately below the apical bud or lower down a point 1 cm above insertion primary leaves. Growth regulators in lanolin applied to cut stem surface. IAA always inhibited axillary elongation and dry-matter accumulation, enhanced internode dry weight but not elongation. GA3 greatly increased weight, simultaneously reduced increase. Application buds had no effect on youngest plants, their two older groups. antagonized GA3-enhancement extension growth, whereas its effects accumulation depended stage development. Bud was greater treated with + than only IAA, except bud, where caused slight increase IAA-induced inhibition. inhibition by groups slightly it oldest plants. No simple compensatory growth relationship existed between buds. It concluded that, (1) auxin appears be principal hormone concerned correlative inhibition, (2) availability gibberellin is importance as modifying factor auxin-regulated dominance virtue local
