摘要: Abstract Electrochemical oxidation of D-glucose has been studied in 0.1 M NaOH on single crystal platinum electrodes with thirteen different orientations. The reaction rate depends strongly the crystallographic orientation electrode surface. For most surfaces investigated, three voltammetric peaks were observed potential region hydrogen adsorption, double layer and anodic film formation. active surface is Pt(111). poisoning adsorbates seem to be less adsorbed this plane than Pt(100) or Pt(110). (100) (111) oriented steps cause a decrease activity A bound species appears preferentially step sites. Its was found coincide Pt(OH)ads
