摘要: The electronic and magnetic structures of Fe1−xCuxCr2S4 (0.1≤x≤0.5) spinel sulfides have been investigated systematically by performing photoemission spectroscopy (PES), soft x-ray absorption (XAS), circular dichroism (XMCD) measurements using synchrotron radiation. Cr Cu ions are found to be nearly trivalent (Cr3+) monovalent (Cu+), respectively, their valence states do not change with x. Fe 2p XAS spectra very similar that metal, indicating the 3d electrons strongly hybridized other electrons. XMCD show moments aligned antiparallel each both increase increasing valence-band PES study reveals Cr3+ () located at ~1.5 eV below EF. occupied consist broad states, ~4 EF, close filled 3d10 lie ~2.5 This suggests S 3p near EF play an important role in determining transport properties for x≤0.5.
