摘要: Disparities in health between immigrant and non-immigrant pregnant women the United States is well documented, but few have documented disparities before pregnancy. Using National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (1999–2006), we examined of reproductive-aged (8,095), sorted by pregnancy US-born (P-US), foreign-born (P-FB), non-pregnant (NP-US), foreignborn (NP-FB). P-US were 5.2 times more likely to report illicit drug use than P-FB women. NP-US 3.7 drugs use, 45% less a normal BMI, 2.0 binge drink, 7.6 smoke, 1.6 engage moderate physical activity, 1.7 birth control NP-FB The lower prevalence numerous destructive behaviors among preconceptional an important finding.
