Tuneable broadband optical filter based on soft-composite materials

摘要: We report on the realization and characterization of a ‘free space’ diffractive optical filter based periodic structure realized in soft composite materials. By combining high stability holographic setup with light sensitive mixture, we have made polymeric slices alternated to pure, well aligned, nematic liquid crystals. Its polarization dependent properties been exploited for realizing diffractive, band-gap based, broadband filter. The sample is characterized terms its morphological, electro-optical properties. show that both electric fields temperature variations can be tune position about 83 nm 116 respectively.
