摘要: Conservation relies increasingly on biological control (BC) of organisms that invade in natural and agricultural areas throughout the world. However, some BC have harmed native species. In United States, regulations are based old laws meant to bar pests, these particularly ineffective protecting invertebrate animals. Improved ecological safety depends recognizing is not appropriate for every pest, factoring into selection agents, limiting importation dissemination agents can harm either animals or plants. Reasonable reform will insure viability this valuable tool both agriculture conservation.
