摘要: We determined how turbidity affected the reactive distance and foraging success of smallmouth bass, Micropterus dolomieu. Smallmouth bass decreased exponentially with increasing turbidity, from 65 cm in clear water to 10 at highest turbidity. Turbidity significantly probability a fish reacting prey item, but did not influence following reaction prey. Elevated may reduce stream efficiency decrease consumption.
