摘要: With growing understanding of negative social and environmental impacts computing technologies increasingly urgent calls to mitigate these impacts, the sector now faces thorny questions around whether how govern technologies. This workshop aims bring together researchers practitioners across a wide range disciplines explore critical perspectives on solutions anticipatory governance in sector. We will draw participants’ diverse expertise develop practical ethical roadmap that attends sector’s responsibility its own contribution climate emergency. Having developed strategies within this specific context, we then produce set principles could be useful other harms resulting from computing, nominally those pertaining efforts responsible AI, data protection, mis/disinformation.
