摘要: The distribution and accumulation of the rare earth elements (REE) in sediments Cochin Estuary adjacent continental shelf were investigated. like La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu heavy metals Mg, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, U, Th analysed by using standard analytical methods. Post-Archean Australian Shale composition was used to normalise elements. It found that more enriched with lighter than heavier ones. positive correlation between concentrations REE, Fe Mn could explain precipitation oxyhydroxides study area. factor analysis suggest common sources origin for REEs. From Ce-anomalies calculated, it an oxic environment predominates all stations except station No. 2. Eu-anomaly gave idea REEs may be from feldspar. parameters total organic carbon, U/Th ratio, authigenic Cu/Zn, V/Cr ratios revealed thus depositional behaviour region.
