摘要: The Eph receptors represent the largest group among Receptor Tyrosine kinase (RTK) families. Eph/ephrin signaling axis plays center stage during development, and deep perturbation of consequent to its dysregulation in cancer reveals multiplicity complexity underlying function. In last decades, they have emerged as key players solid tumors, including colorectal (CRC); however, what causes EphA2 switch between tumor-suppressive tumor-promoting function is still an active theater investigation. This review summarizes recent advances understanding cancer, with detail on molecular determinants oncogene-tumor suppressor EphA2. We describe tumor context-specific examples emerging role supporting cancer-stem-cell-like populations overcoming therapy-induced stress. such a frame, we interaction EGFR pathway cancer. discuss contribution oncogenic resistance blocking agents, cetuximab TKIs.
