摘要: Soil erosion affects extensive areas worldwide and must be urgently reduced promoting plant cover beneficial microorganisms associated with plants, including arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF). In mountain environments, is difficult to enhance due harsh conditions during the dry season steep slopes. Our objective was evaluate percentage of soil surface covered by plants AMF community trees 12.5 years after planting forest restoration efforts in microsites at different levels degradation. The study performed first montane initiative Central Argentina, where one trials consisted Polylepis australis saplings degradation: high, intermediate, low. After 12.5 years, bare significantly 36 37% high intermediate degradation microsites, respectively. Low were initially very low did not change. Mycorrhizal colonization, hyphae, vesicles, arbuscules, diversity, structure similar among microsite types. Percentage hyphal entry points higher degradation, number spores species richness Acaulospora Glomus most abundant genera all microsites. We conclude that even degraded around 2.8% vegetation each year highly tolerant adapted soils disturbance
