摘要: We consider the design of cognitive Medium Access Control (MAC) protocols enabling a secondary (unlicensed) transmitter-receiver pair to communicate over idle periods set primary (licensed) channels. More specifically, we propose MAC optimized for both slotted and un-slotted networks. For structure, objective is maximize throughput while maintaining synchronization between not causing interference network. Our investigations differentiate two sensing scenarios. In first, transmitter capable all channels, whereas it senses only subset channels in second scenario. cases, blind that efficiently learn statistics traffic on-line asymptotically achieve obtained when prior knowledge available. satisfying an constraint on Sensing-dependent are each channel yielding protocol which outperforms previously proposed techniques rely single period optimization.
