摘要: The area of rice harvested in the world increased during past 40 years by 41% but rough production has 304% (IRRI 1991). It is estimated that world’s annual must increase still further, from 519 million tons 1990 to 758 2020 if food per caput be maintained 1989). In Asia, where arable land scarce and population pressure high, most targeted come existing land. Much this suffers soil nutrient problems, which will need overcome productivity increased.
